First of all, you will need to add credits to get started.

Next, to access your cloud, log in to Core, go to Products > Cloud, and click Login to Cloud Portal.

After you log in for the first time, you can always log-in afterwards at https://cloud.hostdime.com/Navigate to Image Removed

Once inside the cloud portal, navigate to Virtual Machines and click "Create Virtual Server".

Templates

Select a template from the provided list and click Next

Now you will select your template, which incorporates your Operating System and Control Panel. Click an Operating System on the left, and an option for that system on the right. Then, click Next.

Properties

Assign a LabelNow assign a label (for your reference), Hostname, and Domain A for your server. Then, choose a password, or a password will be auto-generated if not defined. Click Next.

Resources

Define RAM/CPU/Disk allocations

Tip

A common mistake is to leave the Port Speed at the default 1 Mbps. Make sure to set this to 1000Mbps.

Next, you will choose the configuration for your machine, Be sure to set your Port Speed at 1000 Mbps. As you can see, the default is 1 Mbps and will not work with that setting. Click Next.

Recipes

If applicable, select a recipe to run after deployment. Click Next

Confirmation

Verify the assigned resources.

On this screen you can enable automated backup. This will configure the default backup schedule of 1 daily and 1 weekly backup.

Here you can preview your Virtual Machine. If you would like to make changes, choose the Previous Button. If you are satisfied, click Create Virtual Server.

Your server is now deployed! You can follow the progress in the activity log and see as each progress is completed. Once it is done, you are free to use your Virtual Server right away.
